We will only be taking 128 teams for the 2011 Valley Invitational. The first 32 teams to register are guaranteed a spot. The remaining 96 teams will be chosen from those that get in their registrations after the first 32 teams are registered. The earlier a registration and entry fee gets in the better chance the team will have in getting in. We took 152 teams in 2010, but that was too many to make everything work. 128 teams helps us put together two 64 team brackets.

The Official 2011 VIT Motel / Hotel List - Click Here
It is mandatory for teams to stay at one of the approved hotels on our current list. If we do not make it mandatory, we have to pay around $10,000 to house our umpires, whereas with the hotels on the list, we get enough comp rooms to handle the majority of our umpires.
Teams not staying at one of the approved hotels will be removed from the tournament. Hotel confirmation forms will be sent out to all registered teams shortly after February 1, 2011. |

The International Softball Federation 2010 - 16U World Cup will be held in Plant City, Florida,
December 30, 2010 - January 7, 2011. Eligibility is determined by a player's age as of December 31, 2010, but for the World Cup if a player turns 17 after December 31, 2010,
but before January 8, 2011, she is eligible to participate on a team in the World Cup.
The Northwest has been awarded two berths to the 2010 ISF World Cup. All players that are age eligible are invited to try out for the two teams. |
The two teams will Play in Fall Tournaments during the month of October in California and Southern Oregon.
Tryouts for the teams will be on August 20th, 2PM - 5PM, and August 21, 9AM - Noon, at Southridge High School, 9625 SW 125th Avenue, Beaverton, Oregon 97008. Overall Coordinator is Mike Wells - (503) 329-0129 or mike@mrsoftballinc.com.
